Er is een nieuwe drug op de markt die de gebruiker een uittreding bezorgt. Op straat wordt het 'Sojasaus' genoemd en vele gebruikers zwerven al door de tijd en de dimensies. Maar sommigen die van de trip terugkomen, zijn niet menselijk meer. Een stille invasie vanuit een andere wereld blijkt in volle gang te zijn, en men zoekt een nieuwe held. Helaas zijn daar alleen John en David, twee jonge mannen die gestopt zijn met hun studie en nauwelijks een baantje kunnen aanhouden.
